live what are you doing today Chris so we're back out here staining more pickets for this job that has uh the fence needs to be larger longer so we're pre-staining more pickets with expert staining seal um stain and their staining seal machine so you can see pre-staining pickets it dry up there top run it through again can you tell me a little bit about this product so this is um a product from um expert stain and seal it's a non-drying oil that's absolutely amazing non- drying self-leveling so you won't because it's self-leveling you won't see the fingerprints on it that's a good thing yeah so it'll self level the fingerprints will be hidden you know after it um levels out it's also a um non-drying oil so it never dries it adds oil to the wood increases the light of the wood keeps it soft keeps it soft keeps it from splitting checking [Music] cracking with this stain machine is absolutely incredible so Armando De Jesus is with us he said Hello thank you guys for the information so you can see behind us the fence that's already been installed but the fence was not long enough and so we are up here pre-staining for them to install the new fence John commer says seems like spraying would be faster um so it's a good question so you spraying it you're not going to get top bottom bottom of the picket top of the picket um all the edges pre-staining it gets everything once this the fence is built there's a lot of parts of the fence that's covered that is not exposed it doesn't get stained and is there any liability with spraying and getting it really saturated so there's a lot lot more liability with spraying with overspray the oil will carry long distances and and you'll to be honest with you after using this machine only a couple times this is a lot faster than actually setting up an airless sprayer and spraying and back rushing the entire fence but once again liability and this completely saturates the picket 100% top bottom all edges how long will that stain last um you know it all depends on the climate you're in when you have to restain it so you know if you stain it saturate it like this extremely saturated you're going to get longer life out of the stain you'll just need to do maintenance coats you know on a maintenance coat is a lot easier than than doing a full coat Enrique Daniel Herrera says I wish you the best you guys like a um hopefully I'm standing over it it's really sunny and bright up here and Chris said it is Smoky up here also what brand of oil stain do you recommend so this is expert stain and steel oil stain and so expert stain and steel is on and they said you know this it would mean needed one to two years and then a um maintenance coat and so I guess if stain and seel could um talk about the pricing it's for maintenance coat cuz I know that's a lot more affordable and they have a program of um like a lifetime warranty program so if you guys are on and can tell us a little bit about your program and what you're doing and you could put your website in here also what about cedar siding you can um use this stain on cedar siding too you can actually this machine will stain 2x4s it's a little bit Dry still the one still so those 2x4s right there you'll run them through the machine I'm I'll run him through the machine I'll show you right now stepen Knight said man I owe you everything and one day ends 2x4 oh I got to reset my brushes so the brushes are set for something that's thinner yeah they're set for um I got to Res reset them for the because they're set for the pickets so K kiler he says what's the product usage amount versus sprain so um I would say you're going to use a lot less you know I'm using this machine versus spraying because you're not you're losing probably 25% overspray can't wait to order my own impact 440x you're really happy with the X aren't you I really like the impact 440x it's a awesome sprayer got to turn my valves up a little bit more so you just came out here and how long have we been out here about 15 minutes yeah about 15 minutes and getting everything saturated it takes a little bit of time yeah dialing in the knob to get the rollers you know getting getting wet enough so just getting it three Gina said three neck surgeries so I'm not in the business anymore but I still watch your videos for years much thanks so I hope you're doing well Gina and recovering well well I've had three back surgeries so I definitely stand you what you're going through that's for sure John said would this work with solid stain it would and how about paints you can use it with paint too run trim through it I haven't used it with paint but you can use it with stains and paints Jeremy's with us and he says hey Chris thank you for being With Us Jeremy you guys have have any questions um so who who would use this who would purchase this so if you're a pre-staining fences so you know a fence company that pre- stains fences or a painting contractor that pre-stain your fences uh for the painting for the fencing company so where you just painting a house you saw a fencing company redo the whole fence in the neighborhood and how much time would they have saved if they had one person running the pickets and then they have to come back and now stain the fence up you know I think somebody comment you know faster with an airless sprayer I personally think this thing going be a lot faster than an airless sprayer but once again I think you know you're getting a significantly better job done you're getting the picket completely saturated um all four edges in both sides way way more saturated than you'll get with an airless sprayer and once again there's a lot of the when you build a fence you know like a privacy fence like this getting underneath the picket in the top of the picket how do you really get that you know um spraying a lot of overspray a lot of lost product and stuff so you know um I just think it's it's really the way to go they said you should be miked well we're on an iPhone so I'll try and get closer when he talks um Ras 6468 says appreciate all you do for the industry is there any concerns with leaving fingerprints with this machine so uh this is a um let me get this full here so this product here is a um it's a non-dying self-leveling oil so there isn't a problem with the fingerprints you can see the the fence that was done behind me that's already done in stalled it was done the same way with the same machine and eventually as the oil penetrates the wood it self levels in any fingerprints where you're holding it absolutely just completely goes away 100% any tips on using the machine there it doesn't sound like there's a motor Chris oh there's no motor it's all um manually driven so that's a good thing right oh there's no motor to go out so um I'm sweating yeah you don't like to sweat I guess it's a nice day merera says hi greeting from London you're a very good painter thanks a lot for all the work which you are doing to help us God bless you you can come look at this in next Pi I here you watch it spilling so dry a little bit dry so the reservoir fills up the bottom so I'll get one from this side now could have a shade set up that would be nice yeah kind of like getting a suntan though well and I think what's nice about this machine is it's so portable can see how it floods it completely flooding this picket come back on the other side look at it right here it's back brushing it as it comes through look at that completely saturated oh St and still said Chris make sure to put your pel back under the machine to catch your excess stain I have so I have the valve off so um this catches the stain right here got to filter cuz you definitely want to filter it so the valve is off so I'll put it back under here um once I put it under there I turn my valve on good LOL so I think a lot of fences like even where we're at right now next week we would not be able to do this job and so fence companies in the winter could pre-stain and work inside correct yeah so you know you can do you can work indoors you can work Outdoors so if it's raining if you're a fencing company you can stay indoors or if you're a painter you could pick up the material staying indoors so so you're going to be transitioning to some interior work soon Chris so I'm sure you're going to want to try it out with some interior trim and some interior yeah we'll definitely give it a try I think that would be where the fingerprints would be interesting any questions Chris is live staining pre-staining a fence before it's installed you can see the fence behind him that he did couple weeks ago I believe and they installed it and it wasn't long enough so we're back up here to do more pickets to make the fence longer so one of the other thing I'll tell you come over here closer um you know a little bit about you know the expert stain and seal oil um it's once again it's a non-drying oil so your tools aren't going to dry out your tools aren't going to get hardened somebody asked about cleaning all this stuff um it the oil doesn't dry so the clean up is really easy and you reuse those brushes correct so you reuse the brushes and rollers and another thing is the oil um this oil unlike a lot of oilbased stained products is I've actually had a deck um catch on fire once from spontaneous combustion this oil won't spontaneous combust spontaneously combust there's a super high flash point on it so your rags and your buckets aren't going to catch on fire yeah they said you could use Dawn dish soap to clean it so um Mark said is that machine sold in your store so I use um I use Dawn dish soap and I use Simple grein to clean Mark said is it sold in our store and we say it's sold at paint life Supply Co and expert stain and seal who is going to install uh Lake Fork fence is the fence installer so if you're a painter and you are slow on work you could have a machine like this and contact fence companies and pre-stain for them correct yeah the the amount of fencing I'm doing here it would um two of these fences would have paid for it for the machine for the machine and then after that then if you but I think for us we always you know you have to be creative and yeah if you are a painter and you are slow this is an opportunity to work with fence companies and pre-stain for them cuz didn't you talk to the fence company and ask them if they wanted to buy it I did and they said they didn't get enough jobs to want to buy it but they said they would have me bring the machine to their shop and stain them if I wanted to stain them somebody said the quality is very bad on the video but I think it's because of the cell service up here oh that's mountains well if
