favorite thing you've seen at the the hardware show here well I just saw a a guy from France that made this extension pole and I thought it was really cool and then I just found out from you that a professional painter wouldn't use it so I'm not a professional painter so I just thought it was cool it it was it was actually like a kind of cool extension pool like um maybe if I was cleaning windows and stuff like that or it was kind of interesting you know the the extension pole I just didn't think it was you know ad durable enough to take the abuse you know in as a professional pain day in and day out use I mean however they did say all their tools were for professionals only so um that's what they said yeah so that was kind of interesting but well and I think that's that's only my opinion but that's what's cool is to see like the tools that people are using in other countries because they've been in France for I don't know did he say like 100 years or a long time like a thousand years or something like I don't know like yeah everybody's been around in invented the first paint brush everybody's Tool's been around for 120 years it seems like but um no but iess they been around for a long time that was I thought it was cool and and then you that's it's cool that's what matters doesn't I mean if you think it's cool it's cool so tell me I know you you talked about a fishing lure but what's something else that you saw think of another booth that was that was cool that maybe you would add to your trailer is there anything that you saw there's one like five like one of the things that's more annoying to me than anything is a 5 gon bucket Lids a lot of times are really hard to get off and there's been times I got to go out get a big pair of Chanel loocks and get them off it's very obnoxious and there was a company that used to manufacture this tool to take off the lid of a 5-gon bucket and unscrew it and um it no longer you know is being man made anymore and this um this guy we ran into guy and he makes a tool that um will tighten it really tight and un um if it gets paint around it stuck and glued together it takes it off really easy and I thought that was a pretty cool tool very simple um there's no way you're going to break it it'll go right in the drawer you know in my um trailer it's going to be easy to find there was multiple colors I thought it was very simple but it was really cool mhm and so um what other products did you see that you might be interested in testing out and using you know there was another I didn't even know it existed anymore I thought it it um kind of got clearance and went away and stuff at least our Home Depot in Yeah in our Home Depot it's not there anymore but it was it's I think it's called the brush cover I I can't remember what it it's so it was on Shark Tank like um a long time ago and it was a fireman that created him and his buddy created it and um nice guy John his name is John and so it you put it you know a brush in it and cover it up and it'll keep it wet for 30 days and you know years past I just thought oh that's just kind of you know Silly and dumb but I mean I just always clean my brushes out what happened is is like you know over over time you know EPA regulations you know make it so you can't clean your brushes you know out in the grass and even cleaning your brushes in the customer's grass was which we did for 25 years it never killed grass it kills grass now and so um and then you actually can get in some states like California find a lot of money for cleaning and you're not you're not even supposed to clean them in the you know customer's house and the sink and stuff like that so cleaning is can cost you a lot of money if you don't do it according to EPA regulations and so if you're going to be painting the next day with the same color why not just close it up in this brush cover and then come back and use it the next we used to sell like the brush Shields but he stopped making that yeah and then no the brush the brush Shield was just a brush cover that after you clean your brush it keeps them you put it in it and it protects them you know um especially if you're putting them in drawers putting them in a tool bag and stuff like that so it protects them the brush baggie the brush baggie and there's a brush Poncho and so those you know the brush baggie a lot of people frown upon throwing plastic in the landfill so you know so that's why that wasn't as popular and this thing you can reuse it you can wash it out and stuff one of the things that people don't think about when you do that is when you um store your paint overnight and you keep using it it gets softer and softer so it loses its stiffness cuz the filaments begin absorbing the water and so that's one of the reasons why I really like to clean out you know and let the brush dry out for the next day so it gets its original stiffness back but you know um sometimes a little bit of trade-off for having a softer brush you know and some of the thinner paints and stuff that's like okay and so and he had actually one for a brush and a roller and you know um they were made you know we got a question possibly yeah uh JJ know if there are any Innovative products of the show so far and what the best paint for bathroom ceilings for bathroom ceilings ceilings so there there are there's a what's really cool about the um with this show is have to stay tuned to the channel put there's a whole new invention um section and it's you know behind us is this big gigantic building it's ridiculous I think it's like three or four football fields long it's um it's actually killing my knees walking it but in another part of the building there's a whole section of new inventions and there is a bunch of paint tools there paint related tools that are really cool and um and so if you're a painter you know this isn't a place just for people to come and buy and try to sell products and stuff this is for you to get exposed the really cool new stuff out there that maybe you still that's not even available yet but you can just see what's the latest and greatest technology out there so we've seen a lot of really cool stuff we're walking around with our video crew we video and all this stuff you're going to see it popping up you know on our social media if you probably saw not paint related but this guy that makes Quick Draw gloves and I'm not sure why a painter would ever use that but hey you know if you're in the yard you know landscaping business that might be something for you I just posted that cuz I thought it was pretty fun but well answer the question about a good bathroom ceiling paint yeah you know um just bathroom paint in general you know I think Benjamin Moore you know makes some really good paint that I really like um Aura you that's their topof thee line paint you can't go wrong with that for you waterproof protection a mildew resistant protection you know adhesion it's an awesome product you know a sealing vein if you're having mold you know related issues um zenzer makes a product rustan makes a product um a mold killing primer you can actually just paint it right over mold in a bathroom right over the top of the mold it's going to kill the mold the mold going to grow back and then you would top coat it with your paint so that's a solution if you got a moisture related issues in a bathroom and then bear makes a great paint um Dynasty um their interior paint top of the line another good um it's going to give you good you know water resistance water protection you know um it's going to give you good mildew resistance so good um you know color fade resistance easy to apply um covers very well so those are two good products that I would you know choose for my bathroom so we have one more question um you have any funny painting stories like if you've ever shown up and paint at the wrong house or something that that's that's actually so I did have that experience um and and I'll talk 20 years ago yeah you you might have one that comes to your mind but this one comes this is a new construction you know situation and you know we we would subcontract out you know all the cocking and spackling you know when it comes to um our jobs and so the guys would show up yeah 20 years ago the guys would show up and they would do the caulking and the spackling before we showed up on all the trim work and so you know so the guy's like yeah we're all done so I show up I go drive up to the job site the next day I walk into the place I'm like well nothing's done that's kind of weird and I'm like he said it was done and so then like my blood pressure is going out the roof because like we you got strict timelines to get this stuff done and I'm like what the heck happened I called the guy up I'm like dude he's like yeah I did it man it's like it's all done I it looks amazing and I'm like dude it's not done and I'm like what was the lot and block you were doing cuz the in new construction the houses don't have address and he's like what was lot three block four and I'm like dude that's the one across the street and so and that was somebody else another Builder another painter and I'm like dude it sucks to be you cuz you know unfortunately I can't you'll pay you for something you didn't do my job and I'm like you know if you if you contacted that Builder I'll bet you he would actually pay you you know cuz you for the work you did and and I don't know what ever happened to it but um that that was kind of an unfortunate mistake you know for you know him so we've actually um showed up and started power washing my guys showed up and started power washing a house before and I'm like dude you guys are at the wrong house man so somebody got a clean got their house clean they got like a quarter of their house clean before realiz hope they finished the power watch yeah luckily I don't think we've ever um paint started painting somebody's house you know we've never got that far but I I know power washing it happened once maybe twice where they they one time they showed up at a house and they were questioning it they called me up and I think and I'm like you're I think you're at the wrong house so um yeah it happens doesen kind of kind of funny but you know a big part of what you do on our platform is you share your life you like your hobbies and and fitness has always been a big one so we're going to have to leave this show in a minute because we have a guy like a strongman that's going to lift something oh yeah so some famous dude um is going to be lifing 1,000 lb oh only a th000 a thousand is not that much really anymore but it's a lot yeah yeah I bet you I can do it I I can't actually no but yeah that's a lot of weight it's a lot of weight so he's going to do that for us and we're going to be filming more products to share with you and some you might adopt and use and some you might think are silly and then you find out later that they're actually good products and some might not be good products but that's what we're here to let you know um what's available and what's going on um the home show is going on the National Hardware Show is going on tomorrow afternoon so so if you're in the Vegas area you want to come down you can come still hey did you like that that broom with the blower on it oh I loved that you know Eric you know he has that podcast and TV show um he absolutely like loved that product Oh I should talk to him and he's a like-minded person and he said that that like the kid that created it invented it is like really cool and nice and he wanted to help him out and like he he talked about it on his last TV show and and the kid called him up he said hey dude did you like say something about my little broom like on TV or something and and Eric was like yeah and he's like all it was like blown up this website was blown upw that's awesome that's fun to be able to do that yeah so we actually videoed it and um and he I loved it so especially as a painter it's like your big thing is you know you vacuum the carpet when you leave the job site cuz you want to leave things perfect and clean and you always had a broom and a blower in your car this was a broom and a blower combined so like yeah so that that's a space utilizing it's it's an interesting a blow takes a big space in your trailer yeah so it's definitely that's I definitely see the place that there is a place for in our house like in our kitchen or for you on the back or something like that definitely a place for it yeah doggies going in and out trees it wouldn't survive my trailer and the if you hung it I think you can I think so maybe we'll give it a try what we're learning right now what we're learning right now magnets magnets magnets are everywhere everybody's using magnets in their products so we ran into the guy that created the magnets for that little twisty thing A lot of people are doing so magnets are the new thing I didn't know and so you could put magnet on one side and then on the other side and then you could have it on your side of your trailer yeah so a guy sold me a bracelet that has magnets on and they said it was lit it was going to C everything and for some re that's why you're doing good I don't know I was like I'm not wearing it right now I wear it typically and but I like I still have all the aches and pains didn't and they said it was like a Himalayan thing and they said they give me my money back that's not the point in in the in the tools and in the products out there everybody's using magnets okay yeah and so let's go let's give him something of value here and then we got to go we we got to go watch our strong m brought up we brought up the blower in the broom thing theom look every single time that we left an ex an interior we always vacuumed our way out of the interior and and mopped the floor so if there was vinyl we should do that at our house when you're leaving the house every day um mop and blow and so um can't do that but so we always mopped cuz we didn't want the customer to walk in and see like our Footprints everywhere on the carpet so we literally vacuumed all the footprints out and moop the floors and cuz you're when you're mopping the floor you're literally going to see everything on the floor any paint specs of drips you would see them and you would clean them up so we mopped and clean on the exteriors we always took a blower and blew off all the walkways in the driveway blew the leaves off sweeping we would sweep and so um so I think there might be a place for I'm I'm I'm going to tell ER he's he he has hook you up with that I already talk to the the the and he said he would get me one I think the kids would actually really love it I love it it might convince them to like that might be my house so Chris tomorrow is going to tour around that's going to be your favorite find well they're not asking me for my favorite fine I think they're asking us maybe it's for you just me so he's going to tell his two or three favorite findes so I'll just be whispering in your ear broom blower broom blower yeah or pizza oven I want a pizza oven so hint for me I mean one of my favorite Vines was pizza oven um may may maybe if we if I did they would give you one for fre lawn furniture yard F like it's kind of one of my favorite finds was a fishing lure it's it's it's not good for me to come to these places cuz cuz I could have you do I mean what's important to you is like this this weird patio furniture stuff it's like what's really important is a fishing Lower like when the apocalypse happens that's what's going to feed you outdoor kitchen the furniture is not going to like feed you I can make outdoor pizza you can't make anything unless you have a lure to catch the fish to put in there okay well outdoor furniture so if we see any projects that Chris is building an outoor K You' be able to like weasel one of those out of guys there you could know that he does listen to me sometimes all right so yeah we got um we got to go we got 10 minutes but we got to go so is there is there any other questions Ash no other questions so the questions were slow today that's okay um but that's all right we'll look at the feed when we're done cuz
