Overspray Protection | Exterior Painting

[Music] so I have a um a ring light here that I'm you know working around and you know we're not we didn't remove kind of interesting they still got the plastic on it um we didn't remove the ring light because the customer you'll security reasons they want to be able to see uh the ring lights um sometimes are really difficult to remove and um the customer told me the ring lights here were um when they set them up there were some issue behind with the wiring and stuff and asked you know if we could leave them on typically we're always going to remove you know all of our lights and reinstall them but this one's going to make it easy to mask around so I'm just going to mask around it so I'm just going to take the ring light kind of sits away from the house a little bit so just going to use orange frog tape production tape just going to mask a perfect line around that now I'm going to wrap another piece of paper even around that I'm always going to leave once again a little pole tag cuz what I don't want to do is what we call Christmas wrap this thing and make it difficult to remove all of our masking when we're done so we just set off the light because um we made it dark so um challenge I don't want it to get hot I'm going to see hopefully there's going to be a light switch that turns this off cuz what I want to do is mask this right here like this so I don't get anything bleeding through green lights are really expensive a lot of lights are inexpensive if you break them or get paint on them easy to fix but that's an expensive light so it's like that I'm going to see the customer's not home so I'm going to see if there's an onoff switch I'll turn that off our light went off so I don't have to worry about it heating the paper once again on this side control over spray I can use my cardboard just going to grab my pull tab there that comes off pull tab here that comes off that's how fast your masking should come off a light you don't want to Christmas wrap it where you're picking edges and stuff you want to set your lights make sure you set them again you so the they're set up bright the ring light is looking where it's supposed to be make sure everything is dialed in don't Christmas wrap and pull your masking before you leave so you definitely want a CO and seal to protect the homeowners electrical bills in the long run why you look at me like that okay you didn't like it I think I mean I just I think the thing is is yes painters or protectors I how is How is that not to that point yeah that is that is
