(4,953 characters)hey this is Chris Idaho painter here on paint live TV and today I'm we're out at a job site I've got journeyman John here with me and this is kind of um a project John now takes this van home and um one day he decided to just rip out all the metal shelving or not all of it but one side of it some of it half of it so um and he's improving it and this is kind of cool so um he opened the door showed me the other day this project over here and I thought this was really super w so John show us what you got going on here you got uh there this was just open that went to the other side of the van and now you have you all these slots built right here and what are we going to put in these shelves right here so these are all going to be a lot of our smaller things and I guess as an explanation I used to work out of that big van primarily and so it was easy just to have everything here this one SPAC is even more of a premium so trying to keep it organized but these uh packouts you know will hold our dri s the hardware our spray tips this one has brushes uh this one has to be dedicated still this has our uh personal protection equipment and then our sandpaper we've got our Fest stool up top and a sawall and a handheld sprayer and then we put two of our 440s or two of our small sprayers in there so it's a work in progress but you know we're just trying to get creative with how we're going to organize this thing to make it more efficient yeah it's kind of cool and we've been using these things for years so so we have these type of clips and you can just screw them right into the metal and these things hold extensions hold brushes and stuff so it's kind of cool you got slots up here for rollers have a slot for that's a ladder right there an extend climb ladder that extends up like 133 ft or something like that so and then in the back I know so in the back you have um so you have more brushes brush holders screwed on right there and once this is all a work in progress you said this stuff up here you're you didn't like that concept so you're going to remove that yeah so I'm not you know one of the things is finding a spot for all these buckets to go where they're not going to get stacked into each other because obviously at the end of the day they can still be a little wet so we'll probably build out some shelves here we do have some of our masking stuff there but that'll probably get moved over to the other side and we're just kind of playing with it as we're working so I'll do a little bit of work on it and then I'll run it out for a week or two kind of tweak it figure out what works what doesn't you know we did move a a tool chest a top inside to hold some of our smaller tools too wrenches screwdrivers pliers things like that so it's a work in progress but you know what when you go out and you search for organized painters Vans there's not a lot internet out there so we're getting creative yep if you have any suggest suggestions hey um give us a shout out give us your suggestions we would like to know so yeah we got some um pretty cool you know things we're testing out with John's testing out and stuff so we're going to try to make this thing um or John's going to try to make it you fast and efficient you got a box of brushes what's the deal with all those brushes there they are they're still looking for a home so they're inside a box of tape right now as we figure out where we want to store them what's going to be best and most efficient and like I said we're just to get creative with how we do things and testing things out and figuring out what's going to work best what kind of sprayer you got a big sprayer up there there is a gryco 795 tucked in there so in um you know the two vans that we send out for painting we always make sure we have a large sprayer and two small electric sprayers in there usually a a 440 or a 395 with a long hose and one with a short hose as well as the big sprayer and then a handheld and with that pretty much any van can show up to any job and accomplish what needs to be done so what um what sprayers did you have in here today when you showed up to the job site so we had the gryco 795 it's tucked up in the front there and then I had a four a Titan 440 with just a 25t hose on it a Titan 440 with I believe 100 ft of Hose I think is what it was set at so uh two lengths of the 50 so yeah 100 ft cool there you go some van ideas setting up your van this say I'm sure when John gets done with it it's going to be super cool fast and efficient so once again if you got any ideas let us know man just leave them down in the comments we'd love to hear your comments and um and uh if I don't know if you want to subscribe to our Channel if you want to see more videos um um hit the Subscribe button and the notification Bell you can see how this turns out yes maybe it'll be a just a mess you'll be notified when the next video comes out yeah see you guys out [Music] he
