What happens here

Once the oscillating hoe is properly positioned, initiate a continuous push-and-pull motion across the garden bed. As you push the tool forward, the hinged blade will pivot slightly and slice through the weed stems just below the soil surface. When you pull the tool back towards you, the blade will pivot in the opposite direction, cutting any remaining weed stems from that angle. Maintain a consistent, shallow depth, ideally between 1/2 inch to 1 inch (approximately 1.3 to 2.5 cm) deep. This controlled, repetitive motion efficiently severs the weeds from their root systems, causing them to wilt and eventually die. The goal is to detach the top growth from the roots without extensively tilling the soil.

Goal: Remove weeds by severing their roots using the hoe's action.
