Fell the Tree and Cut into Logs

One Wrong Move Could’ve Been Bad… DANGEROUS Dead Tree Going DOWN! #firewood
What happens here
Start the TimberOx Summit log splitter, which is powered by a Kohler Command PRO 14HP engine. Check the fuel tank and oil levels before starting. The splitter can be started using a pull start or a keyed ignition. Once running, ensure the splitter is stable before operation. Use the chainsaw to make a directional notch on the side of the tree where you want it to fall. Then, make a back cut from the opposite side, slightly above the notch, ensuring you leave a hinge to guide the fall. Step back to a safe distance as the tree begins to fall. After the tree has fallen, use the chainsaw to cut the trunk and larger branches into manageable lengths suitable for firewood and for the log splitter (typically around 14-inch sections).
Goal: Safely fell the tree and cut it into pieces for splitting.
