Attach the Plywood Gator

What happens here

After making the initial 8-inch cut, retrieve the Plywood Gator. Position it so that its V-shaped opening aligns with the cut edge of the plywood, directly behind the saw kerf (the slot created by the saw blade). Firmly press or 'slap' the Plywood Gator onto the back edge of the plywood so it grips the material. This securely attaches the tool to the cut-off piece, providing support for the remainder of the cut.

Goal: Secure the Plywood Gator to support the cut material.
