Ole School Trucker: Darrell Andrews Ride Along - Vietnam NASCAR & Open Road

What happens here

Darrell emphasizes the importance of good shock absorbers and properly adjusted air ride suspensions for a comfortable driving experience in a cab-over truck, debunking the myth that all cab-overs are rough rides. He boasts that his 1980 Kenworth offers a ride as smooth as a new air-ride truck, due to meticulous maintenance and proper setup. He states that newer trucks are quieter due to better insulation, but his older model provides robust, well-built components.

Goal: Highlight the comfort and durable construction of vintage cab-over trucks.
