What happens here
After the final coat of paint has been applied, allow the door to dry completely. The drying time will vary depending on the type of paint used, humidity, and temperature, so refer to the paint manufacturer's instructions for recommended recoat and full cure times. Once the paint is dry to the touch, carefully remove all painter's tape and protective paper/plastic. Remove it slowly and at a 45-degree angle to avoid peeling fresh paint. Clean the airless paint sprayer thoroughly with the appropriate cleaning solution (water for latex paint, mineral spirits for oil-based paint) according to the manufacturer's guide to ensure its longevity. Finally, reattach any removed door hardware.
Goal: Allow paint to dry, clean equipment, and reinstall hardware
