Cut Parallel Grooves with a Jigsaw

What happens here

With the trim secured and the tape guides in place, take a jigsaw (specifically a Craftsman brand model is seen in the video) and carefully align its blade with the inner edge of one of the green tape strips. Turn on the jigsaw and slowly guide it along the tape line, applying steady, even pressure. Allow the saw to do the work, avoiding forcing the blade, which can lead to uneven cuts or damage to the tool. Repeat this process for the second parallel tape strip, creating two clean, recessed grooves in the trim. Ensure to wear appropriate safety glasses to protect your eyes from flying debris and sawdust.
