Fold and Crease the Masking Paper

What happens here

To create the crucial overspray barrier, take the loose edge of the applied 9-inch masking paper that extends onto the wall. Carefully fold this paper back over itself towards the trim and firmly crease it along the fold line. This action creates a raised, rigid flap of paper parallel to the trim, designed to catch and deflect paint overspray.
