30 no 45 minutes later this thick he's got it he's got it and I mean it's it can tell you how to tickle your butthole in there I mean seriously is your tail light supposed to have water is that is that water yeah water do your tail lights I was just looking no well you're just low on blinker fluid he is yeah we started with diesels and then about nine years ago we switched to gassers this is a gaser and we have not had the best of luck with our gassers and uh Alex and Tim are going to show up with both of their new trucks we're going to show you what they what they bought why they bought it we're going to share our experiences and then hopefully you guys can share your experiences as well in the comments down below but let's wait for the boys to show up and then we're going to walk through the new how is H how's Holland with it oh man pretty awesome night and day difference yep yeah last time I called with a diesel was probably 2015 2014 okay we went to gassers Yes um so yeah would you go back take G could you go back um I mean I could but this is just it's got so much more torque just going up a hill fully loaded I'm at like 2 Grand and you know you're not you're not even you're just barely on it you know and if you want to step on it you can just pull away up a hill you know when you do that in a gaser it just you just feel like something's going to go I mean it's just the ours hit right up to 5,000 y yep so it was no it's just awesome man still getting used to it yeah okay so you have the diesel with the 10 speed yep and you Timmy's a diva how is the how is the shifting on he had he made Alex go test run it how was it uh he says it feels great so but me I'm not used to you know first through fifth year there's a lot going on there you know and depending on when you step on it and it feels sometimes like something could be slipping but it's it's just the way they are it's just the way diesels Drive different than a gas engines do and then you're jumping into a diesel with twice as many gears like even for me going from that 67 with a 6 feed this truck I even feel a difference like what is this one this is a 67 with a 10 speed oh it has a 10p speed too yeah this also is a 10 speed what year is this one a 21 a 21 how many miles 45,000 45,000 and yours is a 22 yep has 38,000 on it now and what was the price on yours 61 and yours 63 63 okay um and I've been finding other trucks closer to that one for with 70,000 Mi for 60 Grand you know so we hunted some good deals down on both these trucks got some good deals what do you think of that 10p speed I think it definitely is different because you know before you get to 30 you're in fifth gear where originally I'm in I'm going 50 before I'm in fifth gear so it's shifting five times before I would normally shift maybe three times you know and the third gear so it's definitely getting used to it and these Ford's got the Adaptive drivve in so whoever drove these trucks before did not drive them like me or Tim so it's going to take time for it to relearn so tell tell me about the Adaptive Driving what do you know about I don't know much about it other than the fact that the truck and transmission itself gets used to the way you drive it you know your acceleration and how how you hit the gas pedal and then it the transmission shifts to how you drive it is what I am told and I believe now on our other truck that one has been deleted yeah on yep on the white crew cab yeah my old one on the white one how does that handle tell me about what you did tell me about what that changed in it and how you feel about that truck in comparison to the absolute stock here uh so we did we did a 3-in exhaust on it uh 175 horsepower tune EGR Delete crank case ventilation reroute on it and the thing's a freaking Beast I mean you this thing is slow compared to it like you know I mean I could probably have a skid steer on a trailer behind that white truck and still beat this one in a race like that's I'll so that made that much of a difference huge I mean like totally transformed the truck woke it up you know really woke doesn't is it at it is but we were just talking to a shop a guy that works at a shop not going to mention the shop name but he claims that right now the do is mostly after the people that are installing them you know not after the little guys that are using them you'll catch a fix it ticket or or a a muffler uh Delete uh ticket you know for like a noise compliance type deal but I don't think they can come specifically after you for one truck but I I'm also unaware you know it is il legal you know but but it it should be illegal what these people are doing these trucks now when they deleted it did they remove the ability the need for the death 100% yeah so you don't need any DEA anymore no de at all whatsoever yeah and you said it did 175 horsepower so is that additional horsep y on top of what it's already generating yeah so it was we were guess mating probably like 550 horsepower so for you to go back to a gas there would be no way for me driving this around I'm going damn I'd really like to delete it now you know but you got to drive it and make sure it's a good solid truck before you do that and make sure that cuz that voids the warranty right it does yeah yeah definitely voids the warranty but it definitely increases the longevity of your truck because we took the intake off of that white my old truck and it was just built up with carbon in there like the intake used to be this big now it's that big because there was so much carbon in there because the EGR is just recirculating everything back into there which you got soot in your exhaust and it's going right back into your intake and it all builds up once you get rid of all that crap your your truck can breathe better it gets rid of all that stupid getting rid of that back pressure you mean yeah yeah and it and it totally the truck and and I had problems with that truck not a problem I just didn't like it it downshifted or upshifted into fifth and sixth gear going 30 40 mph was that a 10p speed too that's a sixspeed so that is a sixspeed it's a sixspeed diesel right yep yep that one is is it got a 6.7 yep same same engine I don't think they changed anything what year was is that truck a 16 2016 okay 2016 but now we haven't had the best of luck with that truck as in didn't we have some starting problems with it it still has the starting problems but I have no idea what that is I mean sometimes it will start for 3 months but what we did have problems with was it wouldn't go into regen and we had to kept going down to the mechanic to have them plug into the computer manually regen it m and I mean the I don't know how many RPMs it was sitting at for 45 minutes I'm like is that good for the truck he's like n you know what you got to do to burn it out though and really I wouldn't say that was a problem because you're the DPF filter is supposed to get dirty at some point they're supposed to be taken out they're supposed to be clean that's a that's a process of it so it was getting dirtier it was getting clogged and it was getting to the point where we had to clean it but we just kept manually regening it so now there's a lot of guys online saying that these 67s are not really the best engine because of they got to be rebuilt at about 130,000 miles or something like that have either of you guys heard that I do know that the cp4 pump is knowing the blow in them and when that goes it takes out your entire fuel system including the injector so it's a it's a big de you know that's in what year that's that's all of all these 67s are cp4 pumps and I was under the impression that in 2015 when they updated the turbo they updated the fuel system also but now this new diesel mechanic that we worked with informed me that they did it and these actually still have the same cp4 pump in up as well too oh jeez but uh you know is this the same diesel that they're currently running same thing y so they haven't made improvements to it I don't think they've Chang so Ford has just made their problem our problem at this point it's kind of what it sounds like I mean if they know that there's a problem and they haven't updated it it's almost like a big FU by Ford I don't know maybe it's just me every diesel truck uses a cp4 injection pump it's just common but are is is is GMC having problems is is Ram having problems and it's not that like all my buddies got the 67s they all love them I've never heard of any of them blowing the cp4 pumps it's only when you go to the mechanic and you talk to them well because they're seeing the ones that are going you're hearing at 130 cuz I didn't hear anything that's y in the comments from the one you video you and I did comment after comment after comment are yeah that engine eh it's okay some people we I had a Ford service tech come on and he was like yeah you know uh that's a good engine not great he said good but that the best engine in my opinion yeah the 73 from 99 oh yeah that's everyone's best engine right there that's the best engine that's that's the best diesel engine that's ever been I mean how about the top three nowadays you got your power stroke cumings and durmax I mean they all got their problems that's the thing no truck is perfect okay show me the inside where do we looking at with yours so now you got a long box y crew cab mhm um oh and what's the name of your channel cuz you're going to be updating this truck on your channel yeah dirt monkey Outdoors on YouTube and Facebook and Instagram and I'll actually be going through and kind of customiz not just little things you know like I'll be bringing I'll be restoring the wheels cuz they're all pitted so I'll have to clean and cut those I'm going to tint the windows and uh you know little tiny details like that so I can make the truck look really nice I'm going to get the Low Pro window visor a custom back rack I'm hoping that Tom can make me one you know I've been talking to him about that sounds like he might not be able to so I'll be looking for one and then a low Pro weather guard toolbox in the back H so but inside just a Bare Bones uh larat interior bones lar well yours is the ultimate lar so this this is the low option so what is the difference between Tim's and yours then he's got the sunroof he's got touch to start he's got uh Wireless carplay because on the 22 I believe that they updated just the interior and nothing on the exterior so it's kind of an off here oh so he's got a weight and I mean I think there's others little things in the ultimate package that I'm not exactly but now this is you got the F350 Yep this is the F350 Tim's got the 250 yep and then this one's got a 4in li in it so and this truck will be getting a new snowplow in the front and a Salter put in the back M exactly probably in a week or two weeks yeah two yard Hopper I think you were saying two yard Hopper yeah so uh boss has a brand new Salter out brand new this year um he's getting that put in his truck and then let's take a look inside Tim's Truck Tim you got different headlights too don't you got the LED headlights on his yeah his is sharp and he's also got the automatic tailgate where if he double clicks his button it cannot drop the tailgate down back there soed looking for the truck still we know that as you get older though these are kind of slick with I even use mine yeah I like yeah that is actually pretty nice I don't know what the handle but the Step oh no the handle is that's that's maybe that's for the older guys yeah well maybe this is good right here good good Lord will and we all will get older somay trip you're right good Lord willing we all will get old actually from Canada oh yeah bigger screen yeah yeah it's the ultimate page she's got the uh sunroof moon roof in there yeah I I showed that in the I think I show open crack that open once Tim let's let's see that sunroof I know he doesn't like it but I was thinking boy you're out there snow plowing snow is coming down and hitting the half your it might not be Christmas music playing it might not be that bad oh yeah no that sunroof is nice hit it one more and go back not necessary totally you really everybody needs a sunroof you got the butt massager in there no but the seat warmer is nice man steering wheel yeah you got a heated steering wheel oh yeah you got that in yours too yep I got the heated kind of I'm glad I'm the only one that doesn't have a freaking heated steering wheel you bastard all right let's take a look at mine what mine's a 2022 gaser um this has been an okay truck I can't say I can't say it's been my favorite by any means I like the fact that it's an XLT with a Center Council cuz that's what I would have gotten if I could have found one but I could not anywhere I look nowhere I couldn't find an XLT with a center counsel really really they're very hard to find huh I just found it sitting on a parking lot in Wisconsin you stumbled upon it but like I was hunting specifically there was a couple things that I wanted for sure and that was a Center Council so if I was going to buy another truck I would get the Ford diesel long box dly oh yeah yeah Platinum yeah yeah yeah $100,000 truck right there 110,000 110 oh yeah for the yeah yeah you can find one used with 20 30,000 miles let that first guy take that 30 40,000 and that's what we did here I mean cuz this was Tim's was a $9 some th000 truck out of the gate we got it for 63 or something and yours was what what do you what do you think yours was out of the gate 8890 right around there yeah and we let the first guy take the hit on them I mean it is what 50,000 miles on these and then sell them for 52 Grand and we just lost $88,000 in Valu only drawback is you don't know what the first guy those how hard those miles were on that truck that you just bought Tim Tim always finds a reason to not yeah we got good warranties and you drive the truck and we do that dealership what everybody else does get in there iar I we got it then I'm like wow it's getting seven miles per gallon average I'm like okay speaking of which what is your miles per gallon getting 17 right now just empty empty towing a trailer I guess I haven't tow a trailer yet so yeah empty mine yeah it's been at 19 on the on the freeway I've seen it at as high as 21 I keep resetting it to keep testing it on the trailer I think I was at 11 11 but that's you know uh coming out of our shop you know you're uphill uphill uphill and then I was just driving you know not super far so I had a trailer on it for a few days there I did a lot of hauling with it so yeah yep loaded up dump trailer skid steers uh the minia the bigger of the minia's and yeah we decided it was time to abandon the gers cuz we were looking at how hard we were running them I mean when it boiled down to them I bought the gassers because I considered them throwaway trucks and that is legitimately what they've been right I mean just freaking toss them after you get 150,000 mil on them you get your value whatever value you can out of them and and let them go by buy I mean if you're a huge massive shop like you got a 100 trucks I would be buying gassers cuz the cost is low and what I'd be doing as I'd be running them for 40 50,000 miles where they can still retain a lot of their value cycle them out get rid of them you always got that payment but it eliminates downtime and it eliminates the repairs at 50,000 miles oh I mean that's a that's a low mile truck I go 80 a a lawn care crew would probably run that for 2 to three years you know not local driving if it's a crew truck yeah 50 50,000 mil yeah 3 years yeah yeah that's a tough life on a truck so three years and then anything over that you still want to be in that 34 range for resale you know y yep getting the most out of all right well that's what we bought and that's why we bought it we were disappointed in gassers so we are switching over my next truck will probably be a diesel I mean it's it is what it is especially if I can delete it and get the performance upgrade dude it's night and day difference and a you the lady Prius upsets you and you just half throttle and now her ears are piercing and she's smelling soot that she doesn't want to smell and you're on your way we would never do that never do that wait what happened here let me just lock it you have one nothing's working it's like dead is your tail light this turning into me I remember we would put new tires on a truck and Timmy be like you know these new tires feel softer than the old tires I think I like the old tires better than the new tires can you test drive the truck with me with the new tires because I want to see how they compare to the old tire so when I pulled up and I had to wait because he had to have Alex go for a test drive with him I was laughing inside because that is Timmy I don't remember that of course you don't remember you remember when we got those Grapplers on on the old uh the F350 the 60 I what year that was but those were squishier or Tire I mean you were like he just named the tire the year okay tell me about it they were just I think they were just softer squishy tires so you go like you get a the fuel you just you'd be moving around more on it these are different that's all I don't know that's that's where the tire stuff came from right there yeah it's always up with all shot from now on might be good
