It can go up to a 14-ft 16-ft. I built a split handle design. So, it's meant for this handle to go up, this one to go down. It creates a center point. Goal of this is to give you a direction to carry ladders. So, it's a conceptual product. It's made to snap in and go. Set it, forget it, install it one time. No tools required to install.
