New Land Purchase Going BAD! Unreasonable Expectations! #homesteading #farming

Case in point, you see all the tools stacked up all around me. The projects here on the Stony Ridge farm are not going to change. They're not going to go away because I am looking at another piece of property. Uh there's a little confusion going on about that. And I want to kind of put out that fire with a little discussion today. So guys, I have a handshake deal with a property owner that's about 4 miles from me. Uh they have 11 acres and it's a perfect little already built homestead that's overgrown and it's a mess. It's a disaster. It has several really cool buildings that I think could be rehabilitated into some farmstay cabins. It could be re rehabilitated into some wood shops. uh place to sit down and chill out by the wood stove. This place is actually very very close to several of my dear friends. It's all on the same road. My very dear friends uh actually want this house as well. And this is making it very difficult for me as the buyer to negotiate with this seller. So, what's happened so far, and and make no mistake about it, I want the property, but I feel like the seller thinks they've got me over a barrel. Oh.
