New Inventions In Painting | The Airless Dual Fan Tip

Today, I want to talk about another product from inventor Matt, he created two products. I got in front of me, but I'm gonna be talking about the dual tip right here two tips and one So Matt is the inventor. He's got a business called scale of tools. He is a painter So it is another four painters by painter's product. It's two tips in one. So you can have right here This one is a 615 Two 15 tips. So I got six 15 pattern. I just quickly turn it and I'm gonna have two 15 Two 15 and quickly just rotate it turn it and I got a six 15 So it's kind of pretty cool. I can see you know, we're I'm painting the next area and I need one tip to do the body and then all of a sudden I need another tip to switch over and say do I'm a sight mandor or do the garage doors or say do the doing the gutters. So the first comment I want to address is the tip 615 to 15 combination. So this is just a prototype. So The manufacturer or the creator Matt said it could be any two tip sizes that you want. They can put a I want an actually 515 and the 310 so I'd be spraying the body of a house and then say the gutters with the same color I can just switch it right to a 310 and do the gutters or I'm spraying the body of the house come up to the side garage mandor I want a nice fine finish on the smooth metal door switch it right over to a 310 No pulling out the tip. No trying to find a tip in my pocket or wherever it is with it being dried out etc I can just quickly switch it over. So I'd have these friends body of the house with a 515 Come right up to the door and just switch it right over And I can start spraying the door with a 310 So another question I got or comment I got was what we've already seen you two tips in one in the past So yes, there is another one of the major manufacturers of error the sprayers out there has created a tip like that But one of the requirements was it required an adapter to actually function and it was actually pretty big and bulky So it never became very popular This is just a tip. There's no adapter needed. It's not big and bulky It's not any different size than any other tip that would actually go in the this guard This is a Greco Rack X guard just slips right in there two tips in one just like that simple and easy So another question comment that his come up is well, I don't use Greco Rack's guard So the tip is no good to me So once again, this is a prototype. It could be done in any tip It could be done in a tip that is that has a barrel size of like a Titan production tip It could be done in a barrel size of like a Tri-tack tip bed for tip it could be put in any tip So it doesn't have to be specifically a Greco Rack X tip It could be any tip that goes in any guard So another comment that did show up, you know When I made a post on this is well What if like the 515 wears out and now the tip is no good because it has another tip on there So if I'm spraying a lot of pain through the 515 and not very often spraying through the 310 Yeah, the 515 might get blown out, but the 310 is still good and usable I would actually just if the 515 got blown out says 615 on here I mean, I would just take a sharpie or something and just mark that out like okay This is no good the 515's no good anymore, but the 310 is and I would just continue to use the 310 as an Individual tip and not a good tip. So it's not like you know once one of the tips wears out You know you got to toss the other tips So one of the things about tips where not to if you're really in tune with the tips You can tell you know you don't have to just count the gallons like how many gallons have gone through a tip You can hear by the sound of it once the tip is getting blown out It starts a hiss and stuff a lot starts to get a lot of overspray and fall out But once that happens just mark off one of the things you can take your exacto knife or a 2-inch knife scratch it off or just Color it out with a sharpie and just keep it as a single tip So show you the tip and kind of some things about it it tells you on it says 615 215 so you can easily read on the two sizes on there There is kind of a little arrow a white arrow on it That's actually telling you the direction that the 2 15 spray so opposite side will be the size the arrow is going to be saying it's spraying that direction Just like the 615 has an arrow tells you what direction it's spraying So when you put the tip into the guard if I want the 2 15 I'm just going to turn the 2 15. It's going to have the arrow pointing that direction I know my 2 15 is spraying that direction right there the 615. I know it's ran that direction because the arrow is Pointing that direction. So kind of a cool simple little feature about the tip Y'all along with this dual tip right here. So 615 2 15 just use your imagination. What two tip sizes would you want? So interior I would probably want like a 310 for doing trim then 619 for doing ceilings and walls or if I was doing new construction trim and doors I can be using a 310 for doing trim and then a 510 for doing doors because I want to go a lot faster and have a wider pattern doing doors So a dual fine finish tip would actually be a pretty cool combination also actually I did it again It's not Upscaled up scale tools.
