If you only need to make a slight height adjustment, or want to retract the ladder one rung at a time, locate the small yellow buttons situated underneath each rung section. Pressing these individual yellow buttons will release and retract just that specific rung, allowing for precise, one-foot height adjustments or a controlled, step-by-step partial collapse.
