Assemble Composite Stair Corner Piece
At 0:00 in
New guy is fitting in pretty well already! He’s already got the hang of these stair tread miters!
What happens here
Begin by preparing the composite boards, which are likely cut at precise angles (e.g., 45 degrees) to form mitered joints for the stair components. Apply a bead of 2P-10 brand thick adhesive glue to one of the cut edges of a composite board. Immediately after applying the glue, spray 2P-10 brand activator onto the corresponding cut edge of the second composite board. Quickly and accurately join the two composite boards, ensuring the mitered edges meet flush, as the activator will cause an almost instant bond. Once the glue has set, reinforce the joint by drilling several pilot holes through the composite material. Finally, drive screws into these pilot holes using a cordless drill to provide additional mechanical strength to the mitered joint.
Goal: Create a strong, mitered corner joint from two composite boards for stair construction.
