Never thought I'd be doing this! A day in the life on the farm

What happens here

Use a specialized post tie, a U-shaped piece of metal wire designed to secure the fence. Insert one end of the post tie through the mesh of the woven wire fence, wrap it around the steel fence post, and then slide the other end through the fence mesh. Attach a drill chuck, a custom tool that fits onto a cordless drill, to the free ends of the post tie. Use the drill to twist the post tie tightly around the post and fence wire. The drill chuck is designed to twist the wire until it breaks cleanly, leaving no sharp ends. Dispose of the broken wire ends in the hollow post or a suitable container. Typically, use five post ties per post, but increase this number in areas with high tension, such as dips or rises in the terrain, to prevent the fence from pulling the post up or down.

Goal: Attach the woven wire fence securely to the steel posts using post ties and a drill attachment.
