For the second 250-foot row, replace the Husqvarna K770 engine with the Tool Tuff GT7208S onto the same wheeled cart and Trencher Pro boom. Add fuel and start the engine. Operate the Tool Tuff trencher to dig a trench along the second row of grapevines, maintaining an 8 to 9-inch depth. Pay attention to how it performs against soil, roots, and any encountered pipes. The Tool Tuff engine exhibited comparable power to the Husqvarna and cut through the ground and roots without bogging down. Its design also provided a more secure and better-fitting trigger connection to the cart, enhancing ease of use.
Goal: Dig a second 250-foot trench with the Tool Tuff GT7208S and compare its performance to the Husqvarna.
