Mystery Creature on the Farm! You'll get a Laugh out of this one!
What happens here
The farmer dismounts his ATV to walk a section of the poly electric fence line through the forested area. He checks for any tree limbs or debris touching the wire, which could ground the fence and reduce its effectiveness. He notes the rocky terrain, explaining why the farm is called "Stony Ridge Farm." He points out a "fern gully" rich with wild ferns and comments that allowing cows to graze in such weedy areas helps them naturally clear the undergrowth. He warns to watch out for snakes in the tall grass. He highlights a natural spring, a valuable water source for livestock. He shares the history of his pond, which he built using an excavator and skid steer, but mentions that an otter subsequently ate all the catfish he had stocked.
Goal: Thoroughly check fence lines for integrity and identify natural features, including water sources and potential hazards.
