My POV restoring a deck! #painter #restoration #restore #pov #diy
What happens here
Once the deck is completely dry from the cleaning and brightening process (allow at least 24-48 hours of dry weather), use an orbital sander to smooth the surface and remove any remaining old stain, loose wood fibers, or imperfections. For detailed work on edges and corners, a detail sander or a sanding block may be used to achieve a consistent finish. Work with the grain of the wood for best results.
Goal: Smooth the wood and remove imperfections
