All right, today I'm going to show you um a tool right here, the Wagner Paint Eater, and I use this quite a bit. The times where we use this the most is on garage door jams, the entry where, you know, the cars go in and out, and the man doors that go out the backs of the garage doors, people come in and out, lawn mowers, etc., hitting them, banging them up, and they're just getting weather-beaten and stuff. This is, you know, probably one of the worst examples right here um that I could show you. Like somebody's driving in and out of the garage door, hitting the garage door, putting big old nicks and dings in it. Now, there's a lot of different options you can do. Something this big, you can actually get um like repair care, fill it in. You can get um a Bondo uh wood putty and fill it in and try to get rid of it. A lot of times you can just sand it out with a Paint Eater. A Paint Eater will grind this stuff down really dang fast cuz of the open-style disc right here, it's not going to load up with paint. So, it'll feather paint out, it'll grind this down pretty fast. So, it really and it really comes down to, you know, how much does the customer, you know, want to spend to fix something like this. I would just grind this down and not uh Bondo it or Repair Care it at all at any additional charge, you know, um if if the customer was fine with me and fine with the look. It It all depends on their expectations. We'll grind it out, we'll show you what it looks like with the Paint Eater. >> So, I this is, you know, product we just always have in our vehicle, Bondo glazing putty. Now, if I'm you just using this, you know, I can um I'd fill and do filling with this, and I wouldn't charge the customer anything extra if I'm just doing stuff like this. And so, just a few I'll just do a few nicks and dings here that I can fill in like this. This will look so much better filling that in. All right, let's um work on this other side. Not as bad, but it's got some pretty good nicks and dings. And you can see, you know, uh with you know, sanding and grinding, you know, when you start to heat up this paint, it would load up your abrasive, you know, pretty dang fast and ruin it. You can see, it won't load this thing up at all because of how open it is, and it feathers out the paint, you know, really nice. It leaves a nice feathered edge. I'll fill in a few things here with Bondo. Then I'm going to sand it with my 3x4 sander and we'll show you what it looks like after it's all completed. You know, with just these this minor um fix, you know, about 15 minutes that you could actually do. But, that's going to make that look, you know, so much better with just very little effort, very little cost, you know, just a little bit of um you know, Bondo, you know, a dollar in Bondo.
