What happens here
The video introduces the Pushpilot Smart Arbor, an innovative accessory for hole saws. Unlike traditional hole saws that leave a stuck piece of wood, this product ensures the wood slug (or 'wood puck') is ejected immediately upon cutting through the material. The arbor threads into the hole saw, and a plunger mechanism, actuated by the pressure from drilling, pushes the cut material out the other side. This eliminates the common frustration of removing lodged wood from the saw.
Goal: Demonstrate the Pushpilot Smart Arbor's ability to clear wood plugs from hole saws.
Tools and materials
- Cordless Drill Milwaukee — Powering the hole saw and arbor assembly
- Hole Saw — Used with the arbor to cut holes in wood
- Pushpilot Smart Arbor Pushpilot — Connecting to a drill and hole saw to automatically eject cut material
- Traditional Arbor — Comparison with the Pushpilot Smart Arbor
- Wood Block — Material to demonstrate cutting and ejection
