What happens here

Begin by assessing the electrical box where the conduit enters the building, in this case, a brick wall next to a ChargePoint EV charging station. Prepare the automatic caulk gun, such as the Milwaukee M12 or M18 series, by inserting a caulk cartridge. Ensure the tip of the caulk cartridge is cut to the desired bead size. Activate the automatic caulk gun to apply a continuous and even bead of caulk around the perimeter of the electrical box, sealing the gaps between the box and the brick wall, as well as around any conduit entry points. The automatic nature of the gun, unlike manual caulk guns, prevents hand fatigue and allows for consistent pressure, ensuring a smooth and effective seal. The caulk gun also features an automatic pressure release when the trigger is disengaged, preventing excess caulk from flowing out, which eliminates the need to manually relieve pressure or clean up drips.

Goal: Create a weather-tight seal around the electrical box and conduit entry points.
