Most Affordable Off Grid Well/Water Pump System! #water #homesteading #farming
What happens here
To prevent debris from entering and potentially damaging the pump, the submersible pump is placed inside a yellow plastic bucket. This bucket acts as a crude pre-filter or strainer, blocking larger particles like leaves and sticks. The pump's water hose and power cable are routed out of the bucket. The entire assembly (pump inside the bucket) is then carefully lowered into the chosen water source, such as a pond or creek, ensuring it is fully submerged but not resting directly on the bottom where fine sediment might be stirred up and drawn into the pump.
Goal: Position the pump in the water source for operation and protect it from debris.
Tools and materials
- Power Cable — To supply electrical power from the controller to the submersible pump
- Submersible Pump Lorentz — To draw water from the source and pump it to the desired location
- Water Hose — To transport the pumped water from the pump to the desired outlet
- Yellow Plastic Bucket — To act as a coarse pre-filter or strainer for the pump
