Meet "Rakey Bobby" The Landscape Rake!! Dump Trucks, Lessons Learned, Breakdowns!
What happens here
Before beginning work, understand the functions of the landscape rake. The main 'tines' are spring-loaded and designed to scrape debris from the ground's surface. 'Gauge wheels' or 'leveling wheels' can be adjusted with shims to control the depth of the rake. For initial land clearing where significant debris is present, it's recommended to remove the gauge wheels or set them to allow maximum digging depth to lift all debris. If the rake is angled to the side, it will push debris into 'windrows' (piles) that can then be easily scooped up by the tractor's front bucket or other equipment.
Goal: Learn how to use the landscape rake effectively for land clearing
