Makes Criminals Loud and Slow. #prototype #trailer #lock #shorts

All right, Jim. What are we looking at with this one now? All right, this is a prototype of a new vault lock. It's a type of lock for trailers never been done before. This uses your key. And when you pull the key up, the pins automatically pop in. When you put it back on, you push the lock down, they pop out, and it secures your trailer. To use this, you take the coupler off the trailer. So, the thief doesn't have any way to steal the trailer cuz he can't put a coupler on the trailer. Most locks lock the coupler, which you can just unbolt and take off the coupler, steal the trailer. With this, he can't get a coupler on the trailer to be able to take it. So, not only do you not have a coupler, now if you once you have that installed, you have no way of putting your own coupler in place to drive away with it unless you're doing this. Now, you're a retired police officer. You were telling me off camera that thieves need two things. What are those? >> to be either fast or quiet. This one will be neither fast or quiet.
