Living Off the Land: Wild Mushroom Foraging Priceless Knowledge
What happens here
The host prepares a "Stir-Fry" dish. First, he heats a Stargazer Cast Iron pan on the stove to medium heat and adds Better Body Foods Avocado Oil. He takes pre-tenderized cube steak from Our Wyoming Life and uses kitchen shears to cut it into strips directly into the pan. He seasons the beef with black pepper and a splash of soy sauce (Kikkoman brand) and stirs it. In a separate Stargazer Cast Iron pan, he adds the cleaned and trimmed chanterelle mushrooms. He then adds sliced green peppers, red peppers, onions, broccoli florets, and zucchini (from a store-bought stir-fry mix) to the mushrooms. He adds the remaining sliced hot peppers (from his garden) to the vegetables. He steams the vegetables for a bit by covering them, while the beef continues to cook until browned. He adds a splash of Kikkoman Soy Sauce to the vegetables. Finally, he adds a handful of fresh mung bean sprouts to the vegetables, then combines the cooked beef into the vegetable mixture, stirring everything together. He scrapes any delicious browned bits from the beef pan into the stir-fry.
Goal: Cook a delicious beef and chanterelle mushroom stir-fry
