What happens here

The painter meticulously applies a dark blue/grey paint to a pre-existing piece of furniture or cabinetry, which appears to be dark already, possibly primed or previously painted. He uses an HVLP spray gun, maintaining a consistent distance from the surface (approximately 6-10 inches) and overlapping passes (about 50%) to ensure even coverage. He carefully sprays the front and top surfaces of the piece, rotating the stand to access all angles, including the lower edges, for complete coverage.
