What happens here

This video presents an explanation of SaltCo's automatic, closed-loop salt delivery and monitoring system. Mark from SaltCo describes how their system delivers solar salt from a truck outside a building directly into a brine tank, while also extracting salt dust and air back to the truck. The system includes a 24/7 salt level monitoring unit. The key benefits highlighted are the elimination of manual salt bag handling, reduced dust, and environmental advantages by saving millions of plastic bags from landfills.

Mark, is anybody else doing this? >> No, Salt Co is the only company in America that has a fully closed loop system to deliver solar salt from outside of a hospital, manufacturing facility, apartment complex, car wash directly from our truck to the brine tank, delivers the salt and then our other pipe takes the salt dust in the air back to our truck, which is a completely closed loop system. We started 9 years ago with one truck. 9 years later, we're up to 23 of our jet trucks and we're delivering over 4.5 million pounds of salt a month. >> So now, the way you have it set up is it jets the salt into a system that you guys install, puts it directly into the brine tank, and then you actually have a monitoring system. >> We have a a 4G monitoring system that sits on top of the tank, measures the salt level every 4 hours, so we know exactly how much salt is in that tank. So there's no need to ever enter the building, there's no need to ever have pallets of salt bags delivered, there's no need for a facility manager or people to sit there and load a brine tank anymore. And the other thing is, we saved 4.5 million plastic bags from the landfill last year. We're a green company with initiatives to save plastic bags from the landfill. >> And this is called Salt Co? >> This company's called Salt Co and you can see everything on saltco.com. >> All right. Thanks, Mark. >> Yep, you're welcome.
