What happens here
With the initial pavers set, continue laying the main field pavers across the designated area. This often involves working in sections, ensuring each paver is seated firmly and maintains the desired pattern and joint width. Workers may use a rubber mallet to gently tap pavers into place and a level to check for evenness. As the main field is laid, the video also shows the integration of darker, smaller pavers to create a distinct border around the perimeter of the walkway. This border provides a finished look and helps to contain the main field pavers. Throughout this process, it's important to periodically check the overall level and alignment to ensure a smooth and professional finish.
Goal: The main body of the walkway is constructed by laying the field pavers in a chosen pattern, followed by the installation of contrasting border pavers to define the edges.
