What happens here

Select the correct driver bit (e.g., Phillips, Square, Torx, or Star) that matches the head of your wood screw and firmly insert it into your impact driver. Place the driver bit into the head of the positioned screw, ensuring it is fully engaged to prevent cam-out (the bit slipping out of the screw head). Apply firm, steady, and consistent pressure directly behind the impact driver. While maintaining this pressure, depress the trigger to begin driving the screw. Continue driving until the screw head is flush with the surface of the wood. For a cleaner, more finished appearance, you may choose to slightly countersink the screw head below the surface. Be mindful not to over-tighten, as this can strip the screw head, damage the wood fibers, or reduce the screw's holding power. Release the trigger once the screw is securely seated.

Goal: Fully seat the screw into the wood for a strong connection
