Well, if you look at every flashlight in the world, they have a circle like this. So, when you turn it on, if I look right or left, you have to wave the flashlight back and forth. If I turn it to the left, I can't see the right. If I turn right, I can't see the left. When you turn on the triple light, it does 180°, so you never have to wave it.
