Is this tip life changing?? Many would say yes!! #carpentrytips #carpenter #tricksofthetrade #build

What happens here

Take a speed square and align one of its edges precisely with the initial pencil mark on the wood board. Use the square's straight edge to draw a straight line across the entire face of the board, perpendicular to its length. This ensures a square cut. Then, rotate the speed square and align it with the newly drawn line to extend and transfer the mark onto the side edge of the board, allowing for clear visibility from multiple angles during cutting. This technique prevents guesswork and maintains precision.

Goal: This step involves using a speed square to extend the initial pencil mark across the face of the board and then transferring it accurately to the adjacent edge, ensuring a perfectly square cut.
