foothills of the bluid mountains and this is the select track El tractor and I think the company may be in trouble this tractor has been abandoned on my farm come along and we're going to talk about Stony Ridge Farm this is the select TR electric tractor is a 25 horsepower equivalent select track Electric tractor the frame is made by Farm Tech I do believe and the electric portion is made by select Trak select TR is a subsidiary of ideanomics company I'm going to go through there's been a lot of news lately on select track tractors over the last year or so there have been some Financial struggles evidently and I'm going to read off some articles while we get some of this little machine working right now so guys just a little online research reveals a few things so I'm on pressdemocrat.com and it says Santa Rosa electric tractor maker select track evicted from one location owing $65,000 in rent we're going on electric. latest news out of California is all bad as the company faces eviction and dealers abandon the brand a number of Select track dealers are reportedly cutting ties with the brand after failing to move enough or in some cases any of the electric tractors I don't know uh so this one person one former select track dealer told rural lifestyle dealer I do think the electrification bubble has popped interesting so in the last year the stock has been up as high as $12.74 and is currently down to 98 8 cents per share I don't know what that tells you about the select track company but I'm just going to tell you the facts here that I'm finding online this is all about what I'm just finding online so on November 23rd of 2023 there was an article posted about select track looking for new investors in the future of electric tractors is there a future in electric tractors guys I want you to post a comment down there if I pull up the select track website I I think it's select track.com everything looks good you got a six-year limited powertrain warranty on these tractors you can choose the type of tractor that you want you can download the brochure you can accessorize you can do all sorts of stuff right there on the website but I'm not sure if select track is still selling tractors or if any dealers are still selling tractors so after hearing all that guys and I'm just reading straight from the web this is not my opinion this is not what I think about the machine this is what's out there on the web about select track tractors and ionomics what a disappointment in the stock price dropping I don't know if the stock split or anything like that at some point and it dropped I I don't know exactly what went on there but what a significant price drop in the stock from ID inomics did that come from the select track tractor I don't know speculate that's all I can do I can't tell you what I can tell you is I've been very happy with this machine it mows great it's strong as an ox it's a little bit heavier than a typical 25 horsepower tractor on the top of it right there I have the cool tops fan that blows down on me I like that I'll post a link to that in the video description for you is this electric tractor company out of business the website is up the website's running wide open can you still get a select track tractor are there dealers in your area that still provide these electric tractors and will there be dealer service in other words will the dealer be able to provide you service and warranty coverage on this machine if you buy it now I don't know I do know that I reached out to select track tractors I met these guys at the farm show we spent a little bit of time together with the CEO that CEO is no longer there I think but I don't know that they're looking for investors I'm not sure according to the web they're looking for investors according to the web they owe $65,000 Plus in back rent and were evicted from a warehouse this tractor has been here for nearly a year I don't know what else to say I've reached out to them multiple times there seems to be a lot of turnover in the company is this select track tractor something that you should purchase right now can I recommend it it's something you need to make a serious informed decision about guys contact dealers for select track and see if you can still get the tractor are these tractors going up for auction I don't know what's going to happen with the brand select track I don't know is this a product that I believe in yeah it is a product I believe in is electric technology coming forward and getting better and better and better Battery Technology I say absolutely I find this to be a tool no different than an electric drill or a reciprocating saw or or a band saw or anything I see this as another electric tool to get the job done here on the farm I fed the cows all winter long with it basically on one charge this thing has never been plugged into the Grid it's always been charged with a solar system so it's never costed me a dime in fuel it's a great machine it's a great concept but something has gone wrong guys post your comments down there I don't agree with electric technology like this being shoved down our throats and I also don't believe that electric technology like this should be mandated I think that that's wrong I do however think that Battery Technology is going to get better and better and better will selectra pull out of this I don't know I don't know what else to say other than this machine gets the job done it does what it's supposed to do but the company has had a lot of struggles and I think it's mainly due to politics if John Deere makes an electric tractor would you consider it if New Holland makes an electric tractor would you consider it I know that kih already makes an electric tractor would you consider this is Battery Technology in 10 years going to be so good that it makes no sense to burn diesel or burn gas I don't know lots few removing Parts in an electric motor versus a gasoline or diesel engine you guys tell me what you think electric Tractor No Way yuck nah it's a Biden tractor or electric tractor maybe I'm open-minded or give me an electric tractor guys this is not a row crop tractor it runs for about four hours on the battery four four and a half maybe 5 hours tops at full bore at full strength takes about eight hours to charge up you're not depending on this machine for your livelihood you're depending on this machine to get you through the orchard to get you through the greenhouse to work out in your yard do you need another diesel engine to maintain or is this the better decision for you something like this I don't know tell me what you think would you buy a select track tractor after I read that information to you I don't know I can't give you that advice all I can do is tell you here's the deal with mine and it's been abandoned should we continue to use this machine you guys tell me down there in the comments
