Is it worth saving?? Rare and Rusty 69 Chevy C10...No start in 15 years!

What happens here

The first attempt to start the truck results in no response. The presenter quickly identifies a loose wire connecting to the starter, which is secured. A second attempt also fails to engage the starter. They discover the truck is stuck in gear, so they rock the truck back and forth while someone tries to shift it into neutral. Once in neutral, a third attempt at starting results in the engine cranking, but it backfires through the carburetor, producing a small flame and spilling some gasoline. The backfire also causes a brake line to rupture, resulting in brake fluid spraying onto the underside of the hood and an immediate loss of braking capability.

Goal: Attempt to start the engine and diagnose initial problems.
