so I had someone ask me is it even worth becoming an electrician you know not go the white collar College route and push to the blueco collar trades and I'm going to be honest and I'm going to tell you the brutal honest truth so I've been an electrician for over 5 years I'm 24 years old and I get a bunch of questions from people is the work hard does it pay good is it worth it and the answer to all three is yes yes and yes but you can't just join the electrical trade guys for the short game like any blue collar job starting off your first year starting pay most likely is going to be low and not the greatest this often really discourages people and they quit but you can't look at it like that once you join a trade and you get some experience in then your pay goes up and once you're qualified really from there the sky is the limit you can make over $100,000 a year as a qualified jiam electrician or even a million dollars a year if you start your own contractor business and become a master electrician this is the truth which is why I'm trying to become a master electrician also with all these Electric vehic Les being created electricians are going to have enough work for decades so to answer the question is being electrician worth it the answer is yes but if you're in it for the long game don't join for the short game
