What happens here

The presenter demonstrates the quick and easy process of changing the vise's jaws. The standard woodworking jaws are first removed by simply pulling out their securing pins. The video highlights that these jaws are double-sided, offering both hard and soft/squishy surfaces for different material types. Subsequently, specialized 'pipe-fit jaws' are introduced. These jaws feature nine serrations on each side, providing 18 points of contact for an exceptionally secure grip on round objects. They easily slide over the hardened steel vise, and once the pins are inserted, they firmly hold objects like pipes without slipping.

Goal: Learn to quickly change vise jaws to securely hold various material shapes and types.
