What happens here

With the shingle gently lifted and held in place by the tool, use a cordless drill to drive screws into the roof deck. The video demonstrates installing the first screw, noting that four screws are typically needed for the task. Ensure the screws are driven flush with the roof surface underneath the shingle, and verify they penetrate securely into the roof sheathing. Once all screws are installed, carefully remove the shingle lifting tool, allowing the shingle to lay flat over the newly installed screws.
