Installing Pavers For A FRONT Yard Makeover!

What happens here

Once the gravel sub-base is compacted and leveled, install permeable paver base grids (e.g., plastic mesh interlocking grids). These grids help stabilize the pavers and maintain the integrity of the permeable system. Place the pavers directly onto the grids, following a pre-determined pattern such as a brick pattern or a mixed pattern with larger 'feature squares' for aesthetic appeal. Ensure tight fitting of pavers and maintain consistent joint spacing. Utilize a string line to keep the paver lines straight and consistent. For smaller pavers, tap them gently with a rubber mallet as you go to settle them into the base and maintain alignment.

Goal: This step involves laying permeable paver base grids over the prepared gravel sub-base, followed by carefully placing the selected pavers (e.g., Cambridge Brick Alley and XL Platinum) in the desired pattern.
