Initial Ground Engagement and Loosening

What happens here

With the skid steer positioned, the operator lowers the Harley rake attachment until its rotating drum with teeth makes contact with the dirt surface. As the skid steer moves forward, the power rake engages the compacted soil, effectively breaking it up and loosening it. The spinning action of the rake's drum pulverizes clods and stones, preparing the dirt for subsequent leveling and smoothing.

Goal: Break up and loosen compacted soil on the track.
