Impossible to stay clean when hand sanding drywall 🤦 #homeimprovement #construction #drywall

What happens here

Once the area is prepared, take a drywall sanding sponge or sanding block and begin to sand the dried drywall compound that has been applied over the patch. Use consistent, gentle pressure and employ circular or sweeping motions. The goal is to smooth out any imperfections, blend the edges of the patch seamlessly into the surrounding wall, and achieve a flat, even surface. As the sanding progresses, a visible cloud of fine white dust will be generated from the abraded compound.

Goal: Achieve a smooth, seamless drywall patch surface.
