Skid Steer Hay Bale Handling

What happens here

Following the initial loading with the tractor, the operator utilizes the Gehl RT210 compact track loader (skid steer) with a bale spear to efficiently load and then strategically stage additional round hay bales in rows. This method is shown to be quicker and more versatile for maneuvering bales around the field. The skid steer is used to pick up bales, position them onto the trailer, and subsequently unload them to form organized storage lines. The operator emphasizes the reduced ground disturbance and precise control offered by the tracked machine. A total of 48 bales are moved throughout the day using various methods.
