I wish I had this drill attachment years ago! #plumbing #plumber #diy @gohelper

What happens here

After chamfering, inspect both the inner and outer edges of the PVC pipe. They should now be smooth and free of any sharp edges or burrs, allowing for easier and more secure fitting connections (as demonstrated by inserting one pipe into another). The video also shows that the chamfer tool can be used manually, by holding it in the hand and rotating it against the pipe edge. While effective for smoothing, manual chamfering may not achieve the same depth of bevel as when powered by a drill. This tool is designed to work on pipes from 1.5 inches up to 3 inches in diameter. The blades can also be sharpened if they become dull over time.

Goal: Inspect the chamfered pipe ends to ensure they are smooth on both inner and outer surfaces. The tool can also be used manually if a drill is unavailable, though with less depth.

drill now you have smooth boore in and out it's going to help with the pipe not kicking back out on you when you glue it and if you didn't have your drill this actually fits pretty good in the palm of my hand that's by hand that's not quite as deep as a bevel but overall that's still smooth boore really nice from inch and a half all the way up to 3 in and then if these blades ever dull you can sharpen them
