Skell-Ex Edge Exoskeleton Demonstration (Backpack Style)

What happens here

Nikki next tries on the 'Skell-Ex Edge' exoskeleton, a backpack-style back support unit. The device features numbered straps (2, 3, 4) indicating the sequence for proper adjustment, making it intuitive to wear. Nikki demonstrates picking up an imaginary box and squatting, noting that while it helps with standing up, it doesn't provide as much assistance for forward leaning or squatting compared to the Hapo CS. Greg explains that the Skell-Ex Edge's composite rods are static, meaning support levels are primarily adjusted by positioning it on the body, not dynamic tension. It costs around $1,500.
