What happens here

Begin by covering the floor area directly in front of the wall with a protective drop cloth or plastic sheeting to guard against mortar spills and debris. Use a measuring tape to establish the dimensions of the wall and the desired height for the initial stone veneer application. Starting from one end of the wall, apply a layer of adhesive or mortar to the wall surface, then firmly press the first pieces of stacked stone veneer into place. Ensure each piece is level and plumb, using a spirit level as needed, and maintaining consistent joint spacing. Continue this process for the initial few rows, building a solid and straight foundation.

Goal: The first step involves preparing the wall surface by laying down a protective sheet and measuring the area. Then, the initial courses of stone veneer are meticulously laid along the bottom of the wall, ensuring proper adhesion and alignment to establish a level base for subsequent layers.
