I don’t want to jinx myself… but this job is moving along pretty dang smoothly!! #build #builder

What happens here

After the main decking boards are laid, a track saw is used to make a perfectly straight and clean cut along the edge of the deck. This ensures a professional finish. Subsequently, a dark, presumably composite, fascia board is attached along this trimmed edge, covering the exposed ends of the decking boards and providing a neat border to the deck.

Goal: The installed decking boards are precisely cut to create a clean, straight edge, and a dark-colored fascia board is then installed along the perimeter for a finished look.
