I Didn't Expect This Air Purifier To Work This Well

When we cook, the food just lingers and it's stays for so long. You could leave and come back 4 hours later and your house still smells like hamburgers. I like a hood vent going out of the house. This one does not. Not a fan. Our house continuously smells like the food that we cook all the time. In our bathrooms, it's the same way. There is zero exhaust fan in here. You just have to leave it up to the window and then opening the bedroom door. So, this right here is the Horizon air purifier from Brondell. I met these guys at KBIS this year and I was really excited about this. They said, "Hey, give us a couple products that you would like to try out." And I just had my wife look over all this and she said, "This is what I want." This has got a monster filter in it. It It It's got a easy touch screen display. It's got three speeds on a fan. It's got an ion button that if you push that, it puts negative ions in the air and grabs dust and stuff for you. It's got a timer and it's got a sleep mode. We've been running this for about 3 weeks now and it says every 2 to 4 weeks you want to clean the filter. So, I was going to show you that as well. This filter is a beefy, man. It is awesome. This has been working really well. I mean, I'm talking taking the fish smell out of the house, this will do it. So, let's jump into popping this apart real quick. All right. Right here and here, you just pull this out and then it just lifts up. And you could see it is definitely a little bit funky there. And that is only 3 weeks. Not even quite 3 weeks yet, but almost 3 weeks. Okay? >> [snorts] >> The blue and the white, both sides of this you want to clean. This is funky monkey. Yeah, we'll we'll give it >> a nice little scrub down. And so what you want to do is every 2 weeks every 2 to 4 weeks you want to clean this off. With how bad this looks right now, I'm switching to 2 weeks. All right, so for this I pulled out the little Packout shop vac, my favorite thing. And I just got this new attachment set from Milwaukee as well. These little bad boys are freaking awesome, dude. This little thing super cool really excited about it. Some silicone bristles. It's got a little swivel head. So when you pop that on there we're going to get a good little clean. >> [screaming] >> I mean, you can you can hear the carbon in there. This is a thick, heavy filter. Yeah, let's get that all cleaned off right there. Yeah, that's a little That's just dirty. Use my sleeve. And that was quick. All right, so you just see these little these little hooks right here. Just go down right here inside of these two tabs. Right like so. And then it just clips in place like that. And this is about 3,500 hours this will run and keep it pure. If it starts to notice, you know, build up in it or air flow slowing down these three lights right here are going to start blinking and that means it's time to change your filter. So we'll see how long this lasts. I mean, I'm hoping 6 months, but my air is so bad I could maybe only get four out of it. Oh, now we can just crank this back up. We got it on two. And we really just let it run a lot. It's not that loud. I mean, if you were worried about the the noise, one is pretty quiet. Two is not bad. We really don't even notice it. Three will it cranks up. Right? You can hear it moving. Maybe you do that when you're gone. Another nice thing about this Horizon Air Purifier from Rowandell is it really only weighs around 10 lb. It is super light. You suffer from any of these things like I do, you got a big dust build-up problem around your house, you got allergies, you got cat dander be-bopping, well, this will help you out.
