I can’t believe we used to install walls without this machine. #excavator #retainingwall #engcon

What happens here

The excavator operator meticulously lowers the large stone onto the prepared bank. A ground worker, equipped with a long blue level, stands nearby to provide visual guidance and ensure the stone is properly aligned and level with adjacent stones or the desired grade of the retaining wall. The operator then performs subtle adjustments using the grapple to achieve the perfect positioning and stability. Visible beneath the stones are black landscape fabric, which acts as a barrier for weed suppression and erosion control, and a layer of gravel bedding, providing a stable and well-draining foundation for the heavy stones.

Goal: Accurately place and level the stone according to the design specifications.
