How to Remove a Broken Zip-It Drain Cleaner from a Tub Drain

What happens here

Since the claw grabber was unsuccessful, switch to a hand auger. The video first shows an attempt with a larger head auger, which doesn't fit the overflow opening. Then, a smaller, pistol-grip style hand auger is used. Carefully feed the smaller auger into the overflow drain, guiding it with the camera snake. Manipulate the auger to twist its spiral head around or into the broken plastic drain snake until it is securely hooked.

Goal: Securely grasp the broken drain snake with a hand auger.
